Terms of Service

Draft — not yet reviewed by counsel.

DRAFT — this is placeholder text, not a final legal document. Do not rely on it until it has been reviewed and replaced.

1. Acceptance of terms By creating an account or using Landlord without an account ("guest mode"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. The service Landlord lets you record, measure, and store information about land plots you specify, including GPS boundaries, documents, and notes. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any measurements, boundaries, or legal descriptions you enter — Landlord is a record-keeping tool, not a surveyor or legal authority, and nothing in the app constitutes legal or land-title advice.

3. Accounts and trial New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. After the trial, continued access requires a one-time lifetime payment. Guest mode data is stored only in your browser and is not backed up by Landlord until you create an account and it migrates to your account.

4. Acceptable use You may not use Landlord to store unlawfully obtained data, to misrepresent land ownership, or to interfere with the service's operation.

5. Termination We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Limitation of liability Landlord is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on GPS-derived measurements, data loss, or service interruptions.

7. Changes We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
